Algoma Central Corporation Equinox Class Ships

There are three Equinox Class Ships built to date:

Algoma Central Corporation launched the first vessel in its new series of Equinox Class vessels designed for service on the Great Lakes - St. Lawrence Waterway. This vessel, Algoma Equinox, commenced operations in Canada during the 2013 navigation season.  It will be followed by the delivery of the other seven Equinox Class vessels.

According to the Algoma Bear Facts Newsletter...

"The next two Equinox Class vessels, the CWB Marquis and CWB Strongfield, are expected to be 

delivered later in 2014. The two vessels will be owned by the CWB (Canadian Wheat Board) but managed both commercially and operationally by Algoma. The balance of the Equinox Class vessels, the four self-unloaders, are expected to be delivered throughout 2015."
