Beautiful day for a sail on Lake Erie onboard the Enpire Sandy.

Edward M. Cotter is a fireboat in use by the Buffalo Fire Department at Buffalo, New York, United States. Originally named William S. Grattan, she was built in 1900 by the Crescent Shipyard of Elizabeth Port, New Jersey.

CCGS Pierre Radisson - Ice Breaker

The Welland Canal opens tomorrow, 02 April 2015. 
Today the Pierre Radisson headed upbound through the canal heading into Lake Erie...where there is a lot of work to do...so much ice on the lake still. 
Once a year the Pierre Radisson comes from Quebec to the Welland Canal.
The following photos were taken before the Main Street bridge, across from Robin Hood Flour at Port Colborne 01 April 2015.
