Algoma Equinox, downbound, from Lock 4 East (Twin Flight Lock) - Thorold
Again, there is a thunderstorm brewing...
This vessel is the maximum size allowed in the Welland Canal:
Length 225.55m - 740'
Width: 23.770m - 78'
Depth: 14.700m - 48' 3"
It is amazing to see one of these huge boats inch its way out of a lock.
The boat comes straight out of the lock and it is so big that it doesn't begin to turn until it is completely out of the lock.
